The Office of Grant and Contract Administration (GCA), under the direction of the Office of Research Administration (ORA), provides assistance to faculty and staff in obtaining and managing sponsored awards that support scholarly activities. GCA is charged with reviewing and approving proposals submitted to all sponsors, for interpreting, negotiating, and accepting grants and contracts for sponsored projects funded by federal and state agencies, foundations and other public and private sources, and provides guidance to assure proper stewardship of funds that are received. GCA also prepares and negotiates subawards for collaborative research.
